Suzanne Rützou is first of all an art lover. She finds inpiration in architecture, painting, sculpting, drawing, and likes to take ideas from patterns, prints here and there. Her last collection revives Gustave Klimt's themes, among others.
With her husband, she started a beautiful magazine, The Chronicle, gathering artists, places and people that inspire them. You can download it on the Rutzou website
Real artist, she draws prints and clothes that she wants to very creative but also realistic. Her collection should be nice to wear. This is why she always chooses soft and fluid fabrics, and thinks cut so that they will perfectly fit without any complications. Beautiful pieces of clothing easy to live in, a dream!
The kind of women she dresses ? Women with character, independent and active, who run from their offices to cocktail parties and can jump in a taxi as much as take a bike !
The first look she chooses for me is her favourite item from the collection for next summer, a fluid silk jumpsuit, very nice to wear indeed. She thinks that the colour suits me well and that the long necklace emphasize my rangy figure.
The second outfit is more retro and from the winter collection. Suzanne thought that grey in contrast with gold would give a festive touch to the look. An evening outfit but that could be worn during the day with different jewelery, giving a good idea of how the collection can adapt to different occasions.
